The First Strawberry 🍓

I walked out to my garden at our new property. I definitely was not excited. I let it grow up at the end of the season last year. I do it every single year, it’s not necessarily because I mean to but I just get busy & abandon it.

But last year I did a good job of finding good strawberries that grow year round.

I was cleaning up the strawberry patch expecting it to all be gone when I began seeing green among the brown weeds. Strawberry plants!! 🌱

Then I found an actual strawberry! 🍓

I began covering the strawberries up again to protect them. Maybe being a lazy gardener isn’t always a bad thing! 🤔
