Our living room is lit only by the warm glow of the Christmas tree lights and the light from the candles on the mantle flickering with each movement. The heater warms the room and I curl up in my corner nook with my crocheted blanket from my mother in law.
The holidays are officially over and I couldn't be any happier honestly. The holidays are so stressful. I have divorced parents and so does my husband so we end up going to four Christmases in 48 hours. So when they're all over and we are finally able to sit down and rest, it's the best feeling.
In fact, it feels more like Christmas tonight than it has all month. I have frankincense and eucalyptus in the diffusers to fight against colds since it's been rainy and cold here and pine and mint in my personal diffuser to make me feel uplifted just a bit.
