Allie.

It was the day before a terrible hurricane was scheduled to hit and Perty, our farm cat that came to us as a stray brought up a small gray kitten.

I remember her stumbling behind Perty dodging chickens and trying her best to keep up. I dropped to my knees on the ground and she ran straight to me. That was the first time I ever met Allie.

When the time came for us to leave our home the next day and head to the hotel I worked at Allie was running around and Perty was nowhere to be found. I told the farmer that there was no way I could leave the poor kitten out in the storm not knowing if she could keep up with Perty or her dad, Max. So we loaded Abbie and Allie up in the car and headed to the hotel. We bought her a litter box and food on the way to the hotel and while there we worked with her showing her where the litter box was. The next two days she showed us that she was a natural housecat! So that's what we made her.

Allie became my housecat and she hasn't looked back since. She loves to cuddle, she's sassy, lazy and loves to eat. She's super smart too. She'll wake me up in the morning meowing and will lead me to her food bowl. I'll pour her food in, she eats it all then she will go to Kevin and ask for food, so he pours some and before we know it she has eaten half her weight.

Allie loves dogs and cats too. Abbie can walk by Allie and Allie will run and grab on her and they will run through the house back and forth nudging one another and playfully "biting" and grabbing on each other.

When Perty brought up two more kittens, Mr. Lady & Num Num, we, of course, got her and Allie both fixed but we adopted the other two as well. They stay outside though. Lady comes in once in awhile when I'm filling his bowl but then he goes back outside. Allie likes to put him in choke holds and grab his ears.

Allie has made the best house cat and I love having her company when the Farmer takes Abbie to work with him for the day.
